The community is a home for WIP's and abandoned fanfiction and original stories. Authors can post their unfinished works for other writers to 'adopt' and complete. Members can requests stories they'd like to see finished, offer their services,(beta, etc.) suggest plots for stories, etc. The community is also a 'hub' for writers and readers to mingle and socialize. All fandoms are welcomed! QAF, HP, ATWT, BBM, Glee, Adam Lambert, Supernatural, Tourchwood, True Blood, Twilight and more! I ask my friends if you subscribe to any of these fandoms, PLEASE pimp this community to them. Also, if you have other journals, like IS, please pimp it there too. For my fic In his kiss, I made my own banner, if you can call it that, which I reused for its sequel,Together. Yeah, well, you've seen it... It's just a black and white photo... I liked it, and it worked out great, but I have a new little fic (NOT the sequel to aforementioned fics, otherwise I would use my pseudo-banner for the third time...) I know there are talented people in my flist who might be able to whip out something genius in less time than it takes me to figure out how to take out red eyes... April 10th, 201105:26 pm: Writer's block
A first for me. It has never happened before, but for a month, I suffered the most severe writer's block ever. I am sure it had a lot to do with my (at the moment) shitty RL. But I finally was able to write the short final chapter of "Together". There will be a sequel at some point, because I already have plot bunnies for several arcs, but I felt it was only fair for the people who have stuck with me this far to give them a little closure... There is another AU I have been chomping at the bit to write, but I am NEVER doing another WIP. Whatever I post will be finished, and posted chapter by chapter without the anxiety that came with keeping "Together" going, 7000 to 11000 words every three days,which was completely crazy making... ( My shitty RL )My daughter Nata is now 17, will be 18 in July. Last time I talked to her she was reading "In his kiss"... I have implored her to skip chapter 28, but I doubt she will... I am sooo busted! Oh! Oh! I want to pimp a great AU WIP by bigdogz09 on BJfic, A light shining through the darkness. She is doing the impossible, an AU with everyone in canon... Finally! Who knew one could survive without it for almost 8 painful, long weeks. It's over. I can go online whenever I feel like it, a freedom I will not again take for granted ,let me tell you! So, Hello flist! Hello communities! I am back! I have so much stuff to read, so many things I want to comment on! And now I CAN!!! ($6.00 an hour at the cafe add up alarmingly...) I have started to post my new fic! “In his Kiss.” It is a Brian/ Justin AU. It is at http://asylums.insanejournal.com/_love_qaf_fic/95278.html#cutid1And at http://community.livejournal.com/bjfic/2722049.html#cutid1I hope all of you who are QAF fan will give it a go, and a comment. It is complete, because I don’t really like WIP myself, and I will post a new chapter every other day. I am very excited about it. It is 31 chapters, 90600 words and I feel really good that I actually finished it. My big HP fic is still lingering, some of it in beta, some of it (though not much…) in my head, and some of it on the re-write table. Sigh. It is so close to being done, it’s really pathetic. It would appear that I will be getting an Internet connection back in about ten days. (Please, please, please!). We are (still!) having aftershocks, one 2 nights ago, 4.6, and another yesterday afternoon, which seemed stronger to me. Christchurch is like a construction/bombed out zone. It’s really amazing no one got seriously hurt. I hope the cross posting does not cause too much spam. PS: Posting question: When I post the subsequent chapters, how do I include a "Previous Chapter" type cut to send people to either the first chapter, or a list of all the chapters with links? In the same vein, how do I link the "To be continued" at the end of a chapter to the next one? Help, oh you posting savvy Goddesses! Current Mood:  busy Current Music: Radio. "What you ate today" An easy one! Toast made of homemade bread and homemade jam and tea for breaky. Apricot nut bar for lunch. And for dinner: homemade challah, homemade hummus, roasted chicken and homegrown peas. It's shabbos! Anytime it says 'homemade', 'husband made' can de substituted. My talent is boiling the water for instant noodles. Homegrown, however, means it was planted, watered, harvested by my own little hands. We do have our own chickens, but just for eggs. I was in France for 4 weeks without internet. I stole WIFI from unsuspecting and careless people who had unlocked networks. Now I am back in New Zealand, and our tower succombed last night to earthquake damage. Once again, no internet. Of course, since we are very isolated, I cannot wander the streets looking for an open network. (No streets, no neighbors...) I have to drive 24 km to the nearest "town" by dirtroads to get my internet fix. I may die. I get that's the price I have to pay for living in paradise. Well, what would be paradise if I had the @#$%^&* Internet! Current Mood: aggravated , rant

I am back in NZ from my month away to our home in France where the weather was good, and I spend hours writing my first QAF B/J fic which is currently at Beta. I'm hoping to post it sometime very soon. The trip back, all 34 hours of it alone with a 6 year-old and a toddler was as much fun as you can imagine. It is nice to have the Internet again, though stealing WIFI from people in the streets of France had its moments...and the connection was faster than our crummy satellite one here in Decanter Bay. I am so jet-lagged it's not even funny... Current Mood: tired , writing

October 3rd, 201005:32 pm: My behemothic fic
So I started writing my first B/J fic a while back, originally thinking it would be about 15000 word. When I started looking for a beta, I acknowledged it might be more like 25000. It is now completely finished, all 31 (WTF???) chapters of it and weights in at 90600 words. Yes. That's right. 90600. I really enjoyed writing it. (Obviously...) It's AU, though many of the cannon events show up. For example, the day Gus was born, Brian's cell was on. He talked to Mel, met Lindsay and her at the hospital, and was in the room for the birth so that the first time Justin went to Liberty Ave. he ended up leaning on that light post all night, too scared to do anything. How do you get someone to volunteer to beta such a huge fic? (I had a shy volunteer at 25000, and am a little weary about dropping the "Oh, by the way, it's now four times as long!" anvil on her reluctant toes...) How do you post it so people actually read it? (90600!!! TLDR!!!) It doesn't help that I am in France at the moment, stealing WIFI from unsuspecting people along the way. I'm not even sure where to post it!
